METERCORFoundry · Sto. Tomas, Batangas · since 1948
The hand-set pattern for the Old Gate of San Beda marker, raised capital letters

Your words · your mark · your design · your original, cast in iron, bronze or stainless

Customized Castings

Most of what a foundry pours is somebody else's drawing, repeated. This is the other kind of work: one marker with your family's history, a sign with the restaurant's name, a pan to your sketch, a bust from your clay, a replacement for a casting made fifty years ago. One piece or fifty, priced honestly, with the pattern cost stated once.

Replicas and repairs

A missing letter, a cracked plaque, a sign that must match one cast decades ago, a part for a machine with no drawing. Bring the original; we mold it.

Replacement castings →

Three metals

Gray iron, the material of markers and kawali. Bronze, warm and patinable, for plaques and sculpture. Stainless steel, bright and weatherproof, rare in art and signage because few can cast it; we can.

Signage, nameplates and memorials

Building and business names

Cast bronze or stainless letters and nameplates for entrances, lobbies and gates. Raised letters on a cast plate, or individual letters pinned to stone. Hotel, restaurant, clinic, school, club.

Dedication and donor plaques

Cornerstone tablets, donor walls, blessing and inauguration plaques, anniversary plaques, club champions' boards. Your logo cast in relief, text set in our standard lettering.

Memorials

Headstone plaques, columbarium and mausoleum plates, cemetery markers, memorial garden plaques. Cast bronze or iron with raised letters, mounted on granite or masonry by your memorial park's installer. Portrait reliefs from an artist's model.

Bas-relief and seals

Relief maps, seals, coats of arms, logos in three dimensions. The artist or designer makes the model; we cast it and cut the gates.

Routed and engraved, through partners

Wood and HDU routed signs and large-format work through MIRDC-DOST's router; laser-engraved stainless plates through engraving partners. We coordinate, so you deal with one supplier.

Mounting

Cast lugs or bolt holes on the back, stainless anchors into concrete or masonry, a template for your contractor. A pedestal is the mason's work; we give the dimensions and the weight.

How a customized casting is ordered

  1. Tell us the words, the mark or the design, and the wall Text, logo as a vector file, sketch or original, where it goes, the size you imagine, indoor or outdoor, and the date you need it.
  2. We propose material and construction Cast plate with raised letters, individual letters, a relief, a pan, a bust. Iron, bronze or stainless. What it will weigh and how it mounts or handles.
  3. Layout or drawing to approve Every letter, date, accent and dimension checked by you before a pattern is cut. Letters and marks are cast, not printed; a change after the pattern is a new pattern.
  4. Quotation Pattern cost stated once, the casting priced by size or weight, lead time stated, taxes included, valid 30 days. One-offs pay their pattern; it stays on our shelf for the next piece.
  5. Order, payment, casting, handover Signed quotation or PO and payment by bank transfer to Union Bank of the Philippines, GCash and Maya accepted. Cast, finished and painted as agreed, cookware supplied raw for the buyer to season; picked up at Sto. Tomas or delivered. Three to six weeks for most signs; 30 to 40 working days for markers; six to eight weeks for a first cookware piece.
