Cement plants
The kiln outlet and the clinker cooler are the hardest places a casting works: 1,150 to 1,350 °C clinker, thermal shock every revolution, abrasion all day. We cast grate plates, replaceable lips, nose-ring segments and anchors in heat-resistant stainless, and hammers and liners in manganese steel and high-chrome iron, for plants that would rather keep a stock of patterns in Batangas than a container on the water.

Castings to 100 kg each, so a full grate stage is many pieces, not a few big ones; that suits a foundry that pours five heats a shift. Larger single pieces are quoted with a partner foundry.
Working with a plant
- Supplier to Solid Cement Corporation (CEMEX) since 2023: grate plates and replaceable lips, with trial reports on each stage.
- Registered vendor at the CEMEX plants; earlier supply to Northern Cement in 2015.
- Pattern bank: once a plate is drawn and poured, your reorder is a heat away.
- We can help with failure analysis: section, microstructure and hardness of the worn part against the new one, with a written note on cooling rates and expansion joints where that is where the problem lies.
